For many of us, our journey to the hoop and our desire to connect at Hoopcamp speaks to us on many levels and reveals a deeper meaning.
So much is involved in making the commitment to attend, gathering the resources, making the journey and participating. All along the way there are magical moments of inspiration, insight and growth for us personally and professionally.
By embarking on our adventure we gain so much—big doses of empowerment from our gathering and the new skills we learn, along with the added benefits of meeting amazing people and being at a deeply transcendent and spirit infused retreat center in the redwoods of Northern California.

With the support of each other, the obstacles facing us to arrive at the dream hoop destination seemed surmountable. The belief in creating positive change and living the life we love opened up the doors of possibility to provide the financial means needed to push forward. Finding the real magic of community support was the key.
Before we each boarded our separated flights with a destination of ultimate exploration and evolution, we made it happen in our minds and in our hearts that this trip into the Santa Cruz Mountains was more than a 4 day event. We, perhaps without fully knowing, manifested a change for our lives together. Our goal and dream was and is, to be and do something extraordinary using the talents and skills we were given, sharing the love we have all grown together for the hoop dance community.
It took our family togetherness and determination to continue climbing the mountain in order to see the view. No obstacle big or small, hot or cold would deter our vision of Hoop Camp 2011. Eyes, ears, hearts and minds fully awakened and opened to receive the abundance that everyone so graciously brought with them to share. We were home. There was even a point at which one of us couldn’t believe it would ever come to an end, that we would never leave, and so we didn’t.
Hoop Camp continues living in our thoughts, words and actions, as we spread the good word of this loving gathering everywhere we are. To be so fully consumed by the incredible life we all have the ability to craft, represented by our loving community leaders, keeps the fire burning within us. We are determined to offer our combined energies creating those same magical feelings and inspiration of positive change for someone else. The seed of Hoop Camp planted right in the center of our being. Contribution of all the beautiful, talented and loving individuals, who also call Hoop Camp home, provided the nourishment to produce a transformation that still grows with us, offering flowers of sweet bliss to continue planting seeds of support and love for others to make all their dreams come true.
